When pairing any phone, you need to delete the old pairing from the phone AND the car. Then start fresh.

Huh, but you can pair numerous phones can't you, RAV4 work vehicle I drove had a lot of phones listed.

yeah it can support multiple pairings, but to reset one that’s in the system, it needs to be deleted from the car and the phone
