High-pitched whistling from AC on full blast
Has anyone noticed a high pitched whistling sound coming from the AC when the AC is set to fresh air and on full blast set to the face only? It’s very noticeable when the temperature is set to 75 degrees.

if you have the cooled seat fans on high, thats the noise. Known issue.

Yes it happens to me. I tried removing the air filter and having it on full blast and it does not make the noise. Probably something with the air filter. I just kind of learned to deal with it

Perhaps the filter is not seated properly. I had that once on my home ac unit. Drove me nuts until i figured it out.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll check the air filter to make sure it’s seated correctly. Yes, all the vents are open during my testing. I do have birds chirping sound coming from my engine whether the AC is on or off and plan to have that looked at by the dealer soon as that has been happening a while. I had them perform the fix for the gurgling sound a few weeks after the TSB was issued. It reduced the hissing noise but did not completely eliminate it.

I am just wondering why are you using AC on a full blast in the middle of the January?
