Default 2018 impressions?

I've been waiting for the 2018s to appear at dealerships and am about to go take a look.
Has anyone checked out the 2018s and have any impressions?

On the surface, I'm not a fan of the front grill and the interior photo showing an analog clock on the console is a bit puzzling.
I'm due for a replacement of my 2010 but would like some wow factor to push me over the edge.

What's puzzling about the analog clock?

When my wife and I first started shopping for a Lexus my wife hated the analog clock...now she loves it. Which grill are you referring to: F Sport or standard?

2018 inside and out is the same as the 2016-2017. Only package difference (and the addition of the RX350L). I checked out the RX350L at the LA Autoshow and saw no discernible difference with our 17' besides the length and 3rd row of course.

I don't have a Lexus but I love the F sport grill!!! The analog clock looks great. Perhaps Lexus wants to be different and I think they did a great job.

I really think the front grill grows on you after a bit. I personally don't mind it at all.

For those of us who are waiting to purchase a 2018. We are eagerly waiting to hear about the resolution of the droning and hesitation issues. Please let us know about those 2018 models. We know that the 2016 and 2017's are affected. Please advise us of your experience.

The analog clock is the coolest thing. It adds an artistic touch to the dash and a nice green glow at night. It's actually set DIGITALLY so it's quite precise.

In the RX you just change the Daylight Savings Time in the Menu settings and
all three clocks: Navigation system, analog display and digital display in the
Drivers Information Center (between the Tach and Speedo) will change together.
In the ES however...you must adjust each separately

Very cool the way the analog clock changes with that.

I love the sport grill, but really don’t like the regular grill

I love our 2017 RX Luxury Pkg. - we just took a road trip with 1 child in tow and it was amazing! Tons of space! Of course we were coming from a 2015 Q5. We have the eminent white. We were at a gas station and someone stopped and told us how much they loved the car. That never happened in the Q5 at least not from a perfect stranger. We also have the triple beam headlights which I think completely changes the front look of the car especially with the daytime LED lights so I definitely recommend that for anyone looking. I have to be honest - I cannot stand the standard headlights - looks old school - almost like a pixelated LED daytime running lights. Personally, I think it detracts from the look and cheapens the overall appearance. Oh and I also have the Pano roof which makes the roof all black and I think that definitely adds to the curb appeal! But love all RX's regardless of pano and led's!
