Email messages where and how do they get into the Lexus
2016 450 RH
When receiving emails on the Navigation System Screen through my Blue Tooth Connected Smartphone how do these IMAP emails get received?
FYI,
On the Smarphone I have several different Messaging Email APPS with different email accounts.
How does the Lexus system work with these multiple apps and accounts?
Why does not Lexus clearly explain the technology?

Those with an Android phone will get both e-mails and texts to display on screen.
iPhone folks can only see and hear text messages. An important iPhone advantage
however is that Siri allows hands free responses with "Siri Eyes Free". When you
press the steering wheel "off hook" button briefly you can make a call. When you press
and hold the "off hook" button you engage Siri, "Text John Smith mobile", "meet you
for lunch at 1", "Send". She will repeat each command. Android phones are only
offered a collection on 15 canned responses, yes, no, later, can't talk, LOL...
