Are the pressures indicated in the display? If so, use a gauge to check the accuracy.

Which begs the question: how do you know if your gauge is accurate? I once dropped a dial-type gauge and this changed readings by about 5 psi. Would be nice if car dealerships/tire stores/related businesses could offer a pressurized standard so we could check our (and their) gauges.

Do you guys in the US have free/easy access to service station air/gauges. I just go to a few, say 3, and if they're all the same readings accept that the pressures are correct.

I sort of did that once by buying 4 dial gauges and kept the one whose reading agreed with the majority. I remember that one of the 4 was way off. More recently, I purchased a "TireTek Premium Tire Pressure Gauge" from Amazon based on the reviews at that site. That gauge is very convenient to use, and it's readings agree with the readings I get in my RX and ES.
