OEM Michelin, OEM Bridgestone Vs Other (merged threads)

I guess there must be different models of Michelin Defenders, as I've routinely gotten 60k ish miles out of them. Maybe OEMs that come with a car are different than those from tire stores, which is where I got them?

I think the OEM Michelin that came on the 4th gen RX was the Premier LTX, not the Defender. That was true, at least, for the 2020 MY, although mine came with the Bridgestones. The OEM Premier LTX is notorious for poor wear. The tire store version may have different characteristics.
