The Split Flow function had a hard button in 2016 and 2017 but is now a soft key in the Climate Screen.
Quite sophisticated, when engaged and you are driving alone - HVAC for just the driver. Passenger
(or any weight over about 40 lbs.) will add the passenger side vents. Watch the right side temp display,
when S-Flow is working only the Driver's side temp will show. Passenger climbs in...display lights up.
So they did change it. I didn't think I had lost my mind

Cant cancel it unless you go the the screen menu.

I think not. It merely engages auto control based on the temp settings that are displayed?

That would just change the passenger side temperature.
When its engaged, you adjust individually.
To cancel it (control all from driver side), you go to the screen and uncheck "Dual".

To turn on the “DUAL” mode, perform any of the following procedures:
● Select “DUAL” on the air conditioning control screen.
● Select “DUAL” on the side display operation screen.(Vehicles with a navigation
system [12.3-inch display])
● Adjust the temperature setting of the passenger side with the passenger
side temperature adjustment button.

You are correct. I've tried most of the buttons and the only way to reset is through climate options.
