Do you think the dealer would have pocketed more $$$ from an insurance claim than filing a warranty claim with Lexus.

All this keeps me hoping for a Sun/Moonroof delete option on my next vehicle.

Pano roofs are bad news with many manufacturers. I big no way for me.

Thos aren't a problem, though they are useless in today's cars with A/C.

I guess Lexus cannot make one that lives up to the “Lexus reliability” credo? I really do not care if other manufacturers have issues with this as well…this is supposed to be a Lexus.

It is not just about A/C cooling. That is old school. It is more about letting more light in the cabin. While there are issues for some, I don't think it is any different than a mechanical convertible top. It is not for everybody, which is why there are options.

The sunroof on my ES has NEVER been opened in three years of ownership but I would hate to NOT have it. Pano roofs are inherently subject to issues Lexus or not.

My IS had the sun/moonroof delete. The extra inch or two of headroom was nice.
