I went to test-drive an RX 350 and RX 450h today. Thinking about buying one primarily for use by the wife.
I absolutely do not want the panorama glass roof but I do want the Panoramic View Monitor. I got the impression that I knew more about the cars than did the salesman. He told me that you can't get the Panoramic View Monitor without the panorama glass roof. The Lexus brochures state that this is an individual option.
So, is this an individual option or not?

I was in the same boat when I bought my RX. The dealer did a search in the Ohio tri-state area and couldn't find any cars with this option outside of an expensive package bundle (the luxury package I think). I really wanted that feature but couldn't afford to get a fully loaded car. The only other option that I had was to custom build one. So I skipped it.

Other than poor workmanship, leakage and glass flying off, why would you not want the moonroof?? hahaha!! I really like mine, better airflow than most with top open and all windows down. Of course I don't have any of the issues listed above.
