You all seem to think you will convince others that your opinion is the accurate one. Breaking news - none of you are wrong or right - this is all subjective and that's what makes the world go around. He loves Lexus, she loves Acura and Im actually fond of Hyundai believe it or not even though we own an RX. Bottom line - buy what you like and enjoy driving because if you keep it long enough, eventually something will have to be repaired - that's right every brand even Lexus and Acura.

I’m anticipating that the Lexus will feel like Business Class as opposed to the Odyssey which is Coach. If it doesn’t I should opt for an Outback (Coach Plus).
I misread your post thinking you had a 2017 Odyssey with that many miles😁

AWESOME!!!
I was about to get the 2018 MDX fully loaded. But my girl wants the 2018 RX350L instead.
It was a really good choice to pick too. The speed and ride is amazing. I took my car to vegas at the age of 465miles and came back with 1005 miles. I speeding home a Q60, Honda civic Type R we all going at it on I-15South lol

The speed is amazing??? The 0 to 60 times for the Honda Civic type R is 5.4 seconds, the Q60 is 4.5 seconds and the Lexus RX350 is 6.8 seconds
Are you sure you were driving an RX350, if so, did the other 2 cars know that they were in a race??

I looked at the RDX and found it to be a better value - about $48k absolutely loaded. Since my '15 RX was coming off lease, I also went to see the 2018 RX, which I find somewhat off putting in appearance. While the RX is bigger inside (and out), slower, and noticeably more expensive, it isn't in short supply. The Acura Dealer essentially said "We could get you the top model but you have to wait and pay full price". The deal breaker, however, is the need for Premium fuel - Acura states that Regular can harm the engine if used all the time. Here in my part of Chicagoland, Shell was selling Premium for $1.00 a gallon more than Regular for a while (90 cents today). That raises the fuel cost per mile by ~33%. So, I leased a 2018 RX that stickered at $56k delivered. I like it so far.

Congrats, what was the sale price before the Lexus lease cash?

If you drive 10,000 miles per year and you get 20 mpg that's 500 gallons per year, and with a $1 difference that is $500. So you spend $8,000 more for a car that is definitely not fully loaded that you don't likes the looks of, is slower and sounds like not your first choice for $500 per year.
In 12,000 miles I only got less than 20 mpg once and it was when I used regular gasoline, just sayin', in any case regular is still more cost effective and many say the mpg is the same, whatever. It just doesn't sound like a deal breaker to me.
I don't know anything about the RDX so I'm not about to make a comparison.

Premium would be a non-starter for me as well and that's why I love the RX and may be in the market for a new ES when the 2019 hits the showrooms. Still 3.5L NON turbo and runs on regular.
