Is electric power steering more reliable? Wondering what the pros are using electric? One thing I noticed that the steering feels lighter and quieter, may be that's the reason Lexus use it?

Most manufacturers use it these days.

I do routine maintenance on all my cars. It was driving me crazy to not find the power steering reservoir in my 2016 RX. So I looked in the owners manual, and there was nothing about it. Searched youtube, internet, finally Club Lexus were I found this about electronic steering. Well, I feel better now after feeling lost over something that has traditionally been easy. Thanks.

Same with me. I set up my maintenance spreadsheet including PS fluid replacement....then went looking. Nevermind.
