If you're not experiencing any issues with the car, I believe they just rotate the tires.
Kind of a waste of time, if you ask me.

The German cars I have only ask you to do maintenance every 10k miles, which is more convenient.

It is indeed a waste of time unless you feel something needs attention. It's free so what should we expect

Thanks for your response.
I have a small issue with the driver door. It does not close as smooth as other 3 doors. Have shown this door issue to a different dealer and they said they cant feel any difference. Think its with the door lock mechanism. Will check with them once.

Any personalized settings you recommend?

I really never changed anything other than to marry each FOB to the memory settings 1 and 2.

In my case, my 17 RX350 was a year old in August, but only just made 5k miles, so they called it a "10,000 mile service". Changed oil, cabin filter and rotated tires.

After free services are over, normally how much does dealers charge for 5k and 10k interval services?

The 5,000 mile is a tire rotation and the 10,000 is a tire rotation and an oil change. Every 10,000 miles an oil change and tire rotation is needed. At the Lexus dealership this should be less than $100. Every 30,000 miles the brake fluid needs to be changed and again about $100. Every 20,000 miles change the air and cabin filters. This combined takes five minutes and the air filter can be bought on line at Lexus Parts World for $18. The cabin air filter can be bought at Walmart for $18, It is the Fram Fresh Breeze #10285 with carbon and baking soda to filter the air. Wiper blade inserts again can be bought at Lexus Parts World for $20 for both refills and takes five minutes to replace. You are done until 100,000 miles. At Lexus Parts World use cl5 in the promo code for 10% discount. If you go in and ask for the 10,000, 20,000 30,000 maintenance you will be paying big bucks for a lot more items you do not need checked and inspected. Once a year replace the key fob battery cr2032. Keep receipts for everything. I take my oil filter and 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 purchased at Walmart for $24 to my local Toyota dealer and they charge me $20 labor. This has worked for me for both our cars for over a million miles with zero problems.

The lane change blinker setting is at 3 blinks which I think is to short. I had my set to 5. Seven is also an option. Another setting that only can be done at the dealer is not having the steering wheel retract when the engine is cut off. Not only does it retract but goes down. This makes my long legs hard to get under the steering wheel when exiting. There is another dealer only setting that if you hold down your unlock button on your key fob all the windows or all the windows and moonroof will open. Nice on a hot day.

On the Fram website, the part number for the cabin filter is:

CF12157

For Lexus RX350 years 2016-2018.

The problem is, none of the stores carry this particular filter.

One year on the key fob battery is overkill. They generally last three years - change it at two if you don't trust that.

There are other brands to choose from, or look it up on Amazon.

Thanks Freds430 for all details. I completed my 5k service today. I configured all windows open feature using remote. Wished they had all window close feature too but it seems we can open only....
Rest all standard... My RXL felt bit smooth after the service, dont know what could be the reason...

A few inexpensive additions.

https://www.thejacketstore.com/store...over-27p36.htm

I have these in the front doors and takes two minutes to replace.

Amazon Amazon

The back doors and trunk replaced with LED 194 bulbs and looks so much better than the dingy yellow bulbs.

Damn! You read my mind! I was searching all over internet for these light mods.
The shadow lights, how are they holding up? I want to have them on all 4 door but it seems second row doors allignment does not match to that of driver doors. Is that correct?
Also can you please share the link for buying LED 194 bulbs... Thanks again for sharing all these mod details.
