Question 2018 Hands-Free unlock programming question

When unlocking the rear hatch on our 2018 RX350 using the hands free feature, it automatically unlocks all the doors too. How do I program it so the hands free feature only unlocks the rear hatch and leave all the doors locked? I was able to program the door locks to just unlock the driver door instead of unlocking all the doors but I cannot find instructions on how to unlock just the rear hatch using the hands free feature without unlocking everything else. Thanks.

You can do that with the remote but not the emblem hover. Page 727 in my '18 manual. Has to be customized by the dealer for the remote key to function that way.

Jim, our remote hatch button unlocks the hatch as well as all the doors. Sounds like the dealer can get that adjusted to just unlock the rear hatch without unlocking all the doors with a customized setting. Are there instructions that we can do this customized setting ourselves instead of visiting the dealer? I cannot find any instructions in the book to do that.

The column 1 changes in the manual can be done on your various vehicle settings, column 2 is dealer only and should be free on your first visit. Some dealers may even do it later on for free if you have never requested customization.

Thanks. I followed the instructions outlined on page 722 and went thru all the screens and none gave me the options I wanted so I'll just have to take it in on our first dealer visit and let them take care of it. Thanks again.
