I just tried and for some reason, youtube and netflix don’t allow mirroring here. It just show a black screen when the video is playing. However, below are the solutions:
For youtube, there is an actual Youtube app (it’s preinstalled, but can be updated from Google Play Store). I have a couple screenshot attached.
For netflix, the current netflix app in google play store doesn’t support android 6.0.1 that this box has. Please follow Netflix instruction and download the previous version of the app here: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/12983
how is do you download this old version of Netflix? I find the link on the page, but do you go to the page from this android box’s browser? I tried and click on the app link but don’t know where to see the downloaded apk. Or did you download it to SD card? My sd card is already in the android box, now put back behind the head unit.

go to the link using chrome on the android box. After it download, it will ask if you wanted to install. Then click install. I remember I did that

thank you. I had to long press the link, and get download option there, simply click on it didn’t work. Have you been watching Netflix ok? I only tried once, and a few secs into a show, I get an error, but I’ll try again tomorrow and see if it comes up again.
I went ahead and ordered one too. I found an option to use a wire transfer so I didn't have to send pictures of ID and bank statement. Google searching the "verification" challenges I had turned up many people with the same problem. In my case, I had used Aliexpress for a smaller purchase years ago on an old credit card, and then never tried to use it again until recently. Trying to associate a new card with the same account lead to their strange requests.

Suprisingly, I wasn’t asked for any authentication. I had created an account an year ago and paid from another credit card. Ordered the device last week from a new card. No issues.
This is how my install looked at the end. I thoroughly enjoy having CarPlay in my RX along with all the other stuff I can do with the Android box. Also just nice having a dock to put my phone on when I get in to the car and just grab it off when I'm leaving.
So which module and how much is it? The site is pretty hard to follow, huge graphics, very small text, and I cannot seem to create an account without submitting several documents. This all looks pretty shady to me.

Wow the lightning plug is so strong.im surprised it didn't bend, Looks like it's under pressure as the phone is not vertical.
How’d you get the carplay dongle under the climate control unit? I read on here that there’s a way to not have to rely on Bluetooth by using the aux connection. Did you do that? If so, what’s the additional wiring necessary for that?
