Since the thread is talking about aftermarket CarPlay, someone in the 3RX forum suggested Grom.
How does the Grom solution (https://gromaudio.com/store/vline/le...n-upgrade.html) compare to the Lsailt solution? It may be that they provide the same thing..?!
I also asked the question in the 3RX thread, since Grom was mentioned... hope that isn't illegal!

Lsailt box supports CarPlay out of the box, and they make sure the dongle works well with the box since they are the maker of both. Lsailt is cheaper as well (in addition to good customer service).
If you happens to buy Grom, let us know how it is

I don’t have problem using the wireless. So far it seems function smoothly. Only one problem I have: it gets disconnected when leaving my house after WiFi is switched to LTE. So usually I have to reconnect once after leaving the house and then works without any problem.

Any ideas why the wireless connection keeps dropping?
When it loses the connection, I get the screen that is the screen you see when you have clicked on carplay but don’t have the phone connected. When it’s not connected, the big Wifi logo on that connection screen shows with the little x on it. Any suggestions?

Also the wechat app blocked my account and it says I have to know someone’s phone number who uses wechat to be able to get back in?????? I just want to ask Cosmo why my device is so unstable... ugh.
Since we can’t connect with him on the AliExpress app anymore and wechat isn’t working for me, any other ideas on how to be in touch with him?

I have reached out to Cosmo about the issue last week and he said he have replicate the issue and is working on a fix. I haven't heard back from him yet, I will reach out to him later today for any update.
I'm also having an issue where the GPS is lagging and not updating my location on time. It's like a few seconds behind.
