Hello,
I bought a used certified 2016 Lexus Rx350. There is an issue with the sensors in the front. When I am close to an object it alerts me but on the screen it shows the alert on the opposite side. If the actual post is on the left, the screen shows that it is sensing on object on the right. Logically I don’t think this is normal, before I take it in to have that checked out. Anyone experience that? What would cause that?

Bizarre - is it possible there's a closer object on that side?

It’s happened more than once and on both sides. If there was an obstruction on both sides, should I have gotten alerts on both sides? I’m thinking yes.
The car fax showed that it was never in an accident and I checked the front bumper and the gaps look normal. I was thinking maybe they had replaced the bumper and wires the sensors in the wrong side? Or is it a simple software setting issue where they can swap the sensors on the software.

Head to the dealer. I think both sides would light up like you said if there's something on each side.

So I went to the dealer today. The front sensors were wired incorrectly problem was resolved. The other issue I had was that when i turn on the AC in the coldest setting and the ventilated seats in highest setting I could hear like a small turbine noise. Its loud enough that I can hear it with the radio on low volume. Is this normal? I asked the dealer to compare to another RX350 at their lot. Dealer called back and said sensors were fixed and that the noise is normal when AC and seats are turned on. When I pick up the vehicle tomorrow morning Im going to ask them If I can check another RX350.

The ventilated seats do make a lot of noise, particularly when on the highest setting. It's the noise of the fan moving the air. In my experience they come on at the highest setting when the outside temperature is warm and the car has been sitting in the sun, it's only a few minutes until the fan drops to the next setting or the lowest setting at which point they're quite acceptable and I don't notice them at that stage. There's been a lot of comments on this forum about this "issue".
