Scribed and bumped

 

On the same issue involving my 2017 RX350, on 12/10/23 slow drive 15-20MPH looking at Xmas decorations in neighborhood, all of sudden and no buzzards the following alerts: ICS Malfunction, Check Engine, AWD System Malfunction, 2WD Mode Engaged. I cleaned sensors, they work and give warning, automatic braking system not work along with cruise control. Everything else appears to be OK. Have appointment with dealership but would like to save money if there is fix and a reason how this happened. Car has 71K miles.

 

First thing to do is have your battery checked out. If you still have the original, definitely get a new one. If the one you have is over 3 years old it might be cooked.

 

Returned from Lexus dealership where diagnostics test was performed. Their findings were the “Purge Valve” was stuck in the open position. Codes P017100, P017400, P04417E, P045500, P0117B00. This caused the check engine to light to come which disable the automatic braking system and cruise control. Waiting on part.

 

Any resolution from anyone. I’m having same multiple error messages pop up. Restart multiple times then they go away.

 

What error codes are listed in the code reader? The first code is typically the one that causes the error.
