I usually do oil changes synthetic mobile 1 every 10,000 at Toyota dealer.

With Michelin tires for the warranty it has to be at 5,000 miles or less otherwise it voids it. Usually do it then at Costco

Tire rotation is about getting Even tire wear. The front tires usually wear different than the back due to possible alignment issues. Wheel balance will also cause uneven tire wear on all tires. Another item to pay close attention for even wear and long tire life is ensuring the air pressure is correct. Yes, a good quality set of tires are expensive and we need to do everything possible to get our moneys worth.

Is it true that you have to rotate your tires every 5K miles to keep the warranty? I just bought four Michelin Latitude HP tires at Costco but didn't get this requirements anywhere. Where did you get it?
If it's true it would be such a hassle considering it takes about 1 month to get an appointment from Costco. I normally do it at the same time with the oil change, every 10K miles.

i absolutely hate Costco tires. I guess you guys love waiting 4-5 hours to get a tire rotation done.

I'll pay $15 and get it done in about 20 minutes from Discount Tire.

Also, tires are so much cheaper online. Any shop will change for you. And when you combine tire manufacturer will honor any warranty as long as you bought online you have nothing to worry about.

But keep going to Costco. It does give you 4 hours to shop which they change the tires.

\rant over lol (meant to be a humorous post)
