Quick update, chrome delete is complete and the roof rails were a pain in the ***. Looks great though!

Aimgain kit has been ordered, and is currently being manufactured. Likely 3-4 month wait, but I paid for air shipping so that will cut down the schedule a bit.

Sorry for the iphone photos:

Such amazing job!
Did you replace all the crome parts or did you do wrapping?

Nice! Looking forward to seeing the final product!

After 2 years but only 5k miles, the vinyl wrap around the front pumper is beginning to peel. With only 5k miles it's obvious I don't drive it and it is always garaged. I was told that when you wrap sharp angles, the vinyl wrap will eventually peel.

So, I'm taking mine in to the shop next week, Thursday, so they can remove the vinyl wrap and paint. They will paint the top half including the rails black- I have the pano roof and I saw one with the top painted black and it looked slick. They will also paint the front bumper chrome areas that were wrapped in black to match the rest of the white truck. The mesh grill will remain black. While they're at it, I've asked them to paint the lower part of the front and rear bumpers that are gray in matching white as well as the black plastic trim on the sides below the doors and the wheel well trim pieces.

Last but not least, I'm switching up the bronze and going with this color scheme:

Another quick update, the final pieces of the puzzle are coming together. Aimgain has shipped my exhaust components and are just days away from completing the body kit.

This thing should be complete sometime in July, looking forward to finally executing on my vision for the RX.

Thanks! I was hoping for Caviar but apparently in my area F Sport only comes in Obsidian.. or so my dealer told me anyway. Enjoy it!

I wonder if you can simply stick that muffler tip through the stock bumper

You unfortunately cannot, they’re too large in diameter and designed specifically to fit in the new rear diffuser that comes with the kit. The 2 parts (one each side) are also the cost of a full exhaust on most cars, so you’d likely want to find another option.

Go time! The kit came with stripping and all hardware which appears to be high quality neochrome titanium rivnuts. Looks like most components attach using factory clips. Test fit and wheels on Tuesday.

Test fit with wheels complete. Side skirts are off to avoid damage from the lift.
