Driver side fender bender

Driver side fender bender
So I was pulling into a parking lot going no faster than 10 mph (and there was probably about 1/2” to 3/4” of snow on the ground), lost traction, couldn’t brake, and went straight into this metal rod. Any guesstimates as to how much this repair (driver side fender) will be? I have an appointment with the collision repair folks on Friday. I’ll be sure to bring up the sensors in the discussion on Friday (read some old posts and thankfully the driver side touchless entry still works, which to me indicates there was no damage to those sensors). But any tips on points I should bring up at my appointment on Friday? I have clear bra on the front fender/bumpers as well, so will ensure that they replace that as well! Thanks everyone!

That stinks, I feel for you. My wife’s Lexus was rear ended last year, and the body shop told me that if the substructure of the bumper was damaged causing a misalignment of the parking sonar sensors, that Lexus recommends replacing, not repairing the substructure of the bumper to maintain the proper sensor alignment.
Not sure what a front bumper will cost you to repair, ours was just a couple of dings and scratches and the bolts penetrated the bumper from the other vehicles license plate and my body shop was able to fix the cracks in the bumper and after having it painted and ceramic coated it ended up costing the insurance company close to $1500.

I had a similar situation as you last week. I was coming to a round about and was sliding on glare ice. Had a moment to decide to either jump the curb and hit the yield sign or turn the wheels and take my chances with the curb. I chose to turn the wheels hard right and the rim hit the curb pretty hard. No body damage, but bent the rim and damaged the wheel bearings. $1700 to fix, but the bearings are coming from Japan, so in a loaner for 2-4 weeks.
