Change Start Up Screen
Sheesh! Just bought my 2019 450h two weeks ago. Love the car. One thing I don’t like is what my dealer did and I don’t know how to remedy. When I start the car one of the start up screen pictures is the SELLER’S DEALERSHIP!!!! Why in the world would I want to see their front door and showroom when I start MY car? Surely there is a way to change this? Any help would be appreciated.

Look in the menu for disabling or modifying the splash screen.
I like seeing my dealer's splash screen, as it reminds me of the good experience I had with purchasing.
Took it to another dealer for service.....that dealer disabled it.
Of course I made it come back.
You can even upload your own splash screen.

Yes, my dealer did the same. I immediately changed it to a family photo. This was covered in a thread some time back. You can store up to 5 JPG images on a FAT32 formatted thumbdrive under a specific folder titled “Image” place the thumb drive in the center console’s USB port. Then in one of the menu settings, copy the files you want, then you can choose from the files for your startup and poweroff images. Seems that Images that work best are sized at 800 pixels wide by 480 pixels high.

I just did this a couple days ago. This was for a 2016 with the upgraded Nav screen.
To upload the image, go to MENU -> SETUP -> GENERAL -> CUSTOMIZE IMAGES -> COPY FROM USB
On the USB make sure there is a folder titled "Image" (case sensitive, so use that exact name). Place all image files in there.
I have the 13" wide screen, and I found out it's has a very unusual resolution of 1280 x 480. It was hard actually to find images that size. Files need to be .JPG or .JPEG, file name < 32 characters, < 10MB in size. You can transfer up to 10.
In the end, I was a little underwhelmed because the image didn't fill the screen. Fills about half actually. I thought about maybe trying a 2560 x 960 but could not find anything that size other than some gaming screen shots. But now I know how to do it, I can keep my eye out.

There should be something in the manual about changing the screen displays; how to upload new images and how to change the selections. For Archryhntn, I think if you wait a moment or two the screen will auto-advance past that warning to whatever you had selected when you last shut down. At least, on the NAV screen I have it does.

I just ignore the warning screen - you don't have to select continue. It will go away after a few seconds.
