Hi,

Has anyone installed these weathertech deflectors (side window-deflectors & sunroof wind-deflector)?

In general, are they really worth installing or more just for aesthetics

https://www.weathertech.ca/en/lexus/...mId=2123424739 - CA$159.95
https://www.weathertech.ca/en/lexus/...mId=2123424744 - CA$99.95

Thanks.

Installed side window deflectors (had them on several previous SUVs also).
Their big benefit is that windows could be left lowered down a little for ventilation when parked.
Deflectors prevent rain from getting in.

Thanks. Did you use OEM or another brand?

Here in Canada, OEM is CA$375 while Weathertech is CA$159.95

I see many people are getting the center console tray/organizer/storage box/glove holder etc. My question is, doesn't that take away the padded box cover and your right forearm/elbow resting spot? It is hard to tell from the pictures many have posted because they are all close up shots of just the tray. I need to see a pic from the transmission shifter to the back of the console. I looked at the one on Amazon from Dreamseek and it does not have the Logo at the bottom. It was $16.99. Does anyone who has installed one have any comments, tips or complaints?

I bought below product from ebay which perfectly fits and cover (forearm/elbow resting spot) closes like it not being there (RX350 MY' 2017).
( https://www.ebay.ca/itm/182850869177 - 2016- 2017 For Lexus RX350 RX450h Console Armrest Storage Bin Box Tray Container)

It looks the same as the Dreamseek product in Amazon but not sure if that fits well. Frankly, I did a gamble that if it doesn't fit then I'll just throw it , luckily, I won ... HTH

Dreamseek -
Amazon Amazon

the tray rests inside the cover....so lift the hinged cover, drop the tray in and close the cover.

The product (I got the amazon version for like $15) is well worth it. Fits well and makes better use of the space in the storage box.
I think that it could be improved by having it hinge as well since it must be removed to access bottom of box and that is kinda awkward (although I rarely need access to lower area).

Not sure why Lexus just didn't design the same item. My old Acura TL had a similar item hinged so that you could open to the upper tray or lower tray and that was very useful.

Default I installed accessories that were worth it for me, maybe you like it too?

1.) These "metal caps" for the seat control from Aliexpress. Somewhat nicer than plastic.

2.) The storage compartment for the center console. Very practical and a perfect fit .. Aliexpress.

3.) Nillkin (China Nillkin Homepage) Active fast charger (inductive) with strong magnet holder and MATS holder without screws .. (Everything holds very well, nothing wobbles).

4.) Gear **** with the same gray stitching to match the F-Sport interior.

5.) 90 degree angle adapter for USB-MP3 music stick . The USB stick then lies flat on the edge.

6.) Original Lexus window deflector/"Window Visors" ? very functional (water protection, wind protection) and in my opinion visual an improvement.

7.) Dashcam with 1080 HD front and rear cameras in one device.. Vantrue.. Amazon.

8.) Dashcam controller with selector switching voltage, permanent voltage, battery pack (for night / park monitoring) and "everything off" switch. In addition, a voltage monitor-watch-elektronik for each power supply so that the
vehicle battery is never emptied (Dashcam shut down if car Battery go low voltage).

→ If you can recommend even more inconspicuous cool accessories, you don't like or like these parts ... or have any questions, please let me know :-)

Good works. Quick question, where is the power source for the wireless charger? directly connect to the fuse box? or splice onto other power lines?

I have splice the voltage (switched with car on/off) directly behind the center console at the cigarette lighter socket. there is a lot of space. unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the installation. no tools are required for this installation. everything is mechanically plugged .only where the +/- is connect the cable to the cigarette lighter , then you need tools for the cable to be clamped.

this to the inductive magnetic car charger

splice with cigarette lighter 12 Volt

A small USB flash drive like this one is another option for solving that problem. This is the one I bought:
