Default Scratch on rims-2017 RX450h F Sport

Rim from 2017 RX450h F Sport
I have some scratches on my rims. With lease end approaching in about 3 months, I was wondering if I will likely be charged for the scratches (longer than a credit card) if I opt to return the vehicle. If yes it's likely, any suggestions for a simple repair? I called my local dealership about some touch-up paint and they said that since they are black chrome, they don't have anything for them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

They said your rims are black chrome? Don't look black to me.
Perhaps a detail shop could help you.

I would buy Lexus “Atomic Gray” touchup paint, and very lightly touch up the curb rash. The touchup paint will definitely make the white primer a lot less obvious. Before the car is inspected, and prior to turn it date, just pick a reputable mobil detail guy and make it sparkle inside and out...the cost of detailing will be worth it. Good luck.

Do you actually mean Atomic Silver (the color of my car), or is there an actual Atomic Gray color? Thanks.

The color of your car (mine too). Give them your VIN, and they’ll give you the Atomic Gray Metallic. You’re good to go!

It’s actually Atomic Silver, not Gray. You’re good.

Just schedule your car to be inspected before you return it to prevent any unexpected charges. They’ll send you a report to tell you if anything needs to be repaired and how much it would cost if not addressed at return.

This is who I've used in the past. Charged me $125 or $150 because he came out. The wheels looked like new after he worked his magic. I could not find the repaired section after repair. I was blown away.

Was the $125-$150, the total for all four wheels, or per wheel? Thank you.

Better to know the cost upfront rather than get a surprise charge back after they inspect it and run it
through (the same service) at any price they want to apply.

Exactly! Knowing dealership, they would discount it the retail value of a new wheel.

If you're up to it there are some less expensive DIY methods posted on this forum and other places. I did a quick search and found this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-for-15-a.html
