Is this noise only associated with '16 models? Was it corrected after a certain build date in '16?
I've been researching CPO RX 350s for a few weeks and knew about this issue before I test drove a '16. It is definitely present in the one I tested.

What type of noise are you talking about? The 350 motor usually has a slight ticking noise, almost every GS I’ve ever seen had it.

 

I'm on my 5th RX350 including a 2016, now a 2018. All have never had noises coming from the front. Not germane to 2016s. I recall having a TSB done to address rough/hard shifting on the 2016.

 

Thank you for the response. A noise was certainly present in the '16 I tested. The noise is hard to describe. Not sure if it's the transmission, engine or exhaust. I didn't notice a vibration associated with the noise but it was a short drive.

 

Suggest you drive another 2016 or near year model and compare

 

I believe it is a droning noise. It is common with a 16 model and there is a fix for it from the dealer free of charge. They just add a few dampeners
