Rear suspension noise

I had one... thought that it was from behind.
Two technicians on the first two visits could not find the problem.
The third technician found that the problem came from the sun roof railing. He hit on the ceiling to verify that it would rattle at the impact. Had it changed and the squeak sound is gone!
The technician had seen the same problem from another vehicle a couple of weeks before and knew right away. That was last year.
The funny thing is that a couple of weeks ago, someone with a similar problem showed up at my dealer and I got a call from the service manager. He wanted to know if the solution done on my RX had fixed the problem. I told him that it worked perfectly! He wanted to know before spending on the part for nothing...

Hello guys ... has anyone encountered a knocking noise when driving over a series of bumps. It sounds to me as if its coming from the rear of the car but not 100% sure. There dealer has felted pretty much the entire cargo area but the noise is this there. I would appreciate anyone's comments that would help.
Thanks guys

Same here. The dealers are aware of this issue now, and will initially lube but then replace the arms if you have to come back. Hopefully you can convince your dealer to replace on the first visit to save everyone time.

I have a 2016 RX450h F Sport model that had rear suspension squeeks on bumps. At 10,000 miles the dealer lubricated several areas but it returned. Good news! In May 2019 there was a bulletin on this issue and new trailing arms were replaced. Part numbers 48780-0E080 and 48760-0E070. Problem solved!
