Stock wheels on my 2016 RX350. Would like to (accent) paint the wheel using gun metal metallic color. Anyone accomplish this, and what sections of the wheel have you accented/painted. Thank you...

 

I'm having my 2019 F-Sport 20" wheels powder coated in a week or so. Personally I'm not a fan of the the way a lot of manufacturers are making their wheels darker in color. I prefer a bright silver...it just looks better in my opinion.

Have you looked in to the paint kind of like Plasti Dip that you can peel off? It might make it easier to reverse if you don't like it.

 

Thanks for the reply, and the suggestion. If my RX350 was a darker color, I'd probably leave the wheels alone. But, being the color silver; the wheels and the RX350 blend too much together. A darker accent to certain sections of the wheel, may do the trick. Just thought if anyone has done this before and hoping they would share photos.

 

I did the same a long time ago. Looks light years better.
