hello guys,

just wondering - what do you guys do with the little wrist rest in the centre console now that all of our phones are way, wayyy too big?

wondering if any of you all came up with some neat gadgets or something. i'm a sucker for those.

 

Its the perfect size to hold my work badge. Other than that, it's pretty useless.

 

My iPod Nano fits in it.

 

Dust storage.

 

spare change and sunglasses. easier to reach than the overhead sunglass holder.

 

Funny, I put my work badge in there too.

 

Perfect for an iPod filled with CD's copied with iTunes. A .5 meter ("14) lightning cord
slips through the cable cut and plugs right in, keep the device on all the time to minimize
track indexing delays. The "Radio" hard button selects sources outside the RX such as
AM/FM/XM, the "Media" hard button selects everything inside the car including Bluetooth
and your new media device. Browse by Artist, Genre, Composer, set up the playback
settings and you're off. BTW, the Mode button on the left steering wheel spoke also
serves to mute radio stations and will pause your iPod or CD playback if you press and hold.

 

Tried sunglasses in it but they don't fit. So now I store air in it.

Forgot to mention, the 2020 RX's have a wrist rest that does not open up just as it was
in the 2010 through 2015 RX. Just a padded bump near the new touch pad to spring off
when you are reaching for the "new" touch screen that is mounted "6 closer to you.

Perfect for charging my Plantronics Bluetooth headset.

 

My IPOD Classic. It stays there 24/7 and never sees the light of day. From the cars manual or voice audio controls it has all the functions that a Classic has.

 

160 gig ipod classic also , love the voice integration for artist and things like that.
