I would have made a second keyfob part of the deal. No second fob no sale. It wouldn't have cost the dealer much but it will cost you a lot.

 

I bought the techstream and cable on ebay. Took about 15 minutes to program my new virgin key. I installed the techstream software on my windwows 10 64bit. No issue. it runs just fine.

Hey gang - we picked up a '16 RX350 a few months ago - love it. We received two key fobs with it. However, one of them doesn't work. I figured it was just the battery and so I replaced the battery in both fobs. The one works fine, but the second one still doesn't work at all. I've tried the trick where you hold it close to the start button or whatever, and that didn't do anything. Is there any way to program the fob with one working fob or is this a dealer-only thing? Both fobs are original Lexus fobs. Can a Toyota dealer do this or does it have to be Lexus?

 

Whats up guys, looking at purchasing a 2017 RX350, however it only comes with one key fob. Local dealership will program for $80 but wants over $300 for the fob and key insert. Is there a better route to go for the fob and key than the dealership? if so can you guys point me in the right direction? thanks all!
