Default Removal of OEM Running Boards

I see some information on installing running boards, but wanted to know if its easy to remove them as well? We are looking at purchasing a CPO that has the running boards installed, but we actually prefer the look without them. Can anyone provide some advice on how to remove the running boards or should I go to the dealer?

Removing isn't difficult, the issue yo are going to have is the need for the filler panel that goes in place of them. Dealers won't stock them, so you will need to order and they are going to cost around $600.00.
I looked into it when buying an RX350 F Sport this past fall. I passed on several new ones with the running boards, waiting for one without.

It sounds like you haven't actually purchased it yet, if so, just tell the salesman you'll buy it if he removes them first.
