I was at the Lease End thing last week on a 2016 RX350 fully loaded minus AWD with 35k miles on it. My residual was $30k and going lot price was $33-34k cpo. KKB on my 2016 was around $26k-$28k for a $53k RX when new. Lexus had enough rebates and discounts that met my budget on a 2020. Had it for a week and prefer the 2016 over the non-navi 2020 so far.

The difference I notice so far is carplay which displays at a lower resolution that doesn't use the entire screen vs the car navi system, and it has to be plugged in via usb port to save phone battery I guess. Oh yeah its a touch screen too which is nice.

There's a couple of safety improvements which I feel are enabling most drivers instead of aiding them imo. The car drives & rides the same except it shifts just a little smoother but not by much. Guess you can use the added shifters on the steering wheel to change gears which the 2016 didn't have.

The driver's seat seem not to go back as far which doesn't make any sense or maybe its just me at 6'4. Overall, glad its my wife's vehicle and she seems to be sorta satisfied. Hopefully its as problem free as the 2016 we had.

2cent...

If the difference between a 3 year old RX350 (2017) with 20k miles on it and a brand new 2020 RX350 is only $9000 I'd get the new car every time!

Saw that the dealer has my old 2016 for $34,888 CPO 20k/2yrs with maintenance. Believe I like my old 2016 RX better than my current 2020 so far.

In CA I believe there are still some NEW 2019s. I got a very good deal on mine in December. 18%+ off of MSRP on a new 2019. Base car for $37,000 new.
