Device to automatically press brake hold button at startup
#31
There is another thread about this exact issue. I leaned as I participated. The E-Brake works when you put the car Park while the car is running. Once set to the on position it will always put the E-Brake on. The Hold button only works if you activate it while the car is running. Thereafter every time you come to a stop the brakes hold you whether you are going up/down or on a level road. You do not need to keep your foot on the brake pedal but once you push on the gas pedal the brake releases and you are on your way. Once you turn the car off you must repeat the procedure. Hope that make sense.
I don't see the need for it all the time but some like the feature and would like to see it come every time they start the car.
