I have a Pixel 2 XL paired and everything is working fine..yes the volume works on phone and system. I can make calls and receive calls from the phone but not through the voice command.. The problem is when i press the talk button the system shows the microphone disabled.. It says wait for beep but the beep never comes... Just stays like this

What year is your vehicle? What happens if you want to give it a navigation command? It sound like it has nothing to do with BT but rather the cars system.

Had the same issue on my NX, unplugging the battery for 5min fixed it for me.

MKenM....yes, you're right..I disabled the Bluetooth and the system still would not accept voice commands. Perhaps a software issue.

Although that may fix it for now that may not be a permanent fix. All disconnecting the battery does is to let all the on board computers reset and start again. The dealer should see it so it can be documented otherwise it's your word against theirs.
