Alignment for 2017 Rx350
#16
Well one experiences symptoms when it's way out of alignment, for a few degrees off one may not notice it as much, especially with power steering. But it still reduces the lifespan of the tires.

I had a car (not Lexus) that was way out of alignment - ZERO symptoms other than the tires were chewed up way before they should have been.

Exactly right! I did not "experience issues" -- I was surprised by the revelation that it was out of alignment all the way around. Now I have 26,000 miles on the car, and a set of Bridgestones that need replaced. So I guess that's the way you experience the issue.

Thanks everyone for their replies. Talked to Lexus and they said the technician found that there were three out of four tires out of alignment. When I asked why they didn’t recommend the alignment before putting the all seasons o, they said they probably didn’t have time to do it - which to me is a lame reason- got the car back around 3 hours before they closed.
anyway, rebooked with them for next week with their VIP service where they will pick up and drop off the car. Alignment is $149.
have not been as impressed with Lexus service or build quality as I was with the first RX350.
my wife said that the rails the front seats are on are rusting - which doesn’t make sense. How does the interior get rusted??? They said that when they do the alignment they’ll take pictures and submit for warranty if it looks like work is needed, but they probably can’t address it next week until they have approval to proceed for warranty work.
