New to lexus have a few questions
I just bought a 2017 RX 350 and was wondering a few things
- Live traffic and weather update is it free??
- Wifi hotspot
- How to tell what package RX I have its like 7 of them (Yes its weird but it never said) I think its base but it have a 12.3 nav. I live in Georgia but the car came from NJ. If that helps
- Apple carplay??

2017 did not have Apple Carplay.
12.3" Nav means you probably have the park assist.
Wif-Fi hotspot is a paid service.
We custom ordered our 2017 and 2020 Lexus Rx's. So unlike a Honda, Dx, Lx etc, the options vary. But the base add on options are Technology pack and Luxury package. There are many more add on's such as cold pack, towing package etc. Then there are individual add on's such as overhead display, heated steering wheel, kick sensor to open rear door etc.

Intermediate
Your best bet is to go to a dealership and get a full briefing from a technology specialist. I am not sure they are back to doing it yet, but they probably have some way of helping you. Also, I used youtube videos a lot while learning to use the technology in my cars. Hang in there, it is a bit intimidating at first.

Map updates are released June of each year.
You may be able to purchase updated maps MicroSD card from eBay, but be careful as some sellers are shady.
