Looking to buy a rx350 or rx350l. We have not been able to find a 350l on a lot, so my question is does the 350l with third row seat folded down have much more space than the rx350 for luggage? We are concerned about lack of space for luggage.

 

The 350L does have more space than the 350, but not much more. Keep in mind, Lexus did not extend the wheelbase and only added space behind the rear wheels to accommodate the third row so the 350L loses some second-row legroom to accommodate room for the third row.

Official stats peg the 350L with 23 cubic feet of space with the third row down and the 350 has 18.4 cubic feet behind the second row. With all rows folded down, the 350L has 58.5 cubic feet and the 350 has 56.3 cubic feet.

 

The 350L also loses some leg room in the front seat. I compared both models side by side.

 

No sure about the front room, which seems good to me. I have a 450L and one nice feature of the rear is that the rear door has less slope, so it can accomodate taller items at the back edge.

 

Also the RXL Spare Tire is under the vehicle and difficult to access. The rear window wiper is at the base of the rear window and exposed, whereas the regular RXs the wiper is concealed under the air foil at the top of the rear window. Good Video on YouTube 2020 RX350L:
