I also use my cargo cover 100% of the time.

The cargo net in my 2022 is of little use to me, however, I saved the net from my 2006 RX and because it lies flat across the entire rear area, it is out of the way but very useful to hold things in place instead of everything rolling around back there.

 

The only time I use the net is when I am hauling long boards. I wrap the net around the ends of the boards and then tie the net onto the seats so that the boards cannot move forward and slam into the the gear shift or the the radio.
