lets say $4k off MSRP + lease cash or any other rebates ( education, loyalty, military, ... )

you still have tax, title, many other fees they charge basically taking away all they gave

you shouldn't trust the salesman, take quote from several dealers around you. make sure when they are finalizing your order they enter the same values that initially quoted

Main thing you need to pay attention to is MF ( Money Factor ) not residual, the way most of dealers calculate it you are ending up paying about $3k MF money for 3 years lease, it shouldn't be like this

I really appreciate you all posting prices. I just bought my wife a brand new 2020 Lexus RX 350. I got a very nice, well-optioned AWD model for 9% off MSRP plus the Lexus Cash back of $3,000. In addition, the dealer fees were only $200 total.

I was offered a 2021 model for around 4% off MSRP plus the $1500 cash back (no dealer fees) but I went with the 2020 model. I also tried to custom order a 2021 AWD with Luxury Package but the dealer only offered 2% off MSRP (no Lexus cash either). If the dealer would have accepted 6% off MSRP I would have gone the custom route.

The key to making deals it seems to me is to buy what they have in stock. I predict by the end of this year you all should be getting 6% off MSRP plus Lexus Cash on a 2021 model. The 6% off was with no dealer fees but driving a harder bargain at 8% off MSRP with no dealer fees for a 2021 would be a great deal at this time.

No that is correct, the total is much more because of the optional installed. It's from Kuni Lexus in Denver.

I'm looking to buy a '21 Rx. It will be my first Lexus so I'm not familiar with how December To Remember usually works. During November they are offering $2500 back for a purchase. Since the current deal expires Nov. 30, historically has Lexus come out with better deals in December? Wondering if it would be better to wait until December.

December to Remember is just their way to attract more customers. It isn't much different from other months thou. In terms of Lexus cash, I highly doubt if Lexus will make it 3k by December. Usually, they don't even offer the 2.5k until August of the next year. However, this year it seems like they are already giving up 2.5k this early. So Lexus def wants to finish the year strong. This is great news! Suggest waiting till December anyway just in case...

From reading this thread, I'm not 100% clear on whether the targeted percentage off MSRP includes the Lexus rebates or not. For instance, this thread says 12% off MSRP is a good deal. Right now Lexus is offering $2500 for '21 models. The model I'm looking at has a MSRP of <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$62,060.00 and an invoice cost (from costcoauto.com) of <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$58,205.00. 12% of the MSRP is <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$7,447.20. So do I target <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$7,447.20 - $2500 = <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$4,947.20 discount from the dealer or am I targeting $7,447.20 from the dealer plus $2500 from Lexus which would be a total discount of $7,447.20 + $2500 = $9947.20 which would end up being 16% total discount. Obviously more discount is better, but I want to understand what is realistic.

Also, the difference between MSRP ($62,060.00) and invoice ($58,205.00) for this vehicle is <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->$3,855.00 or 6.2%. Should I really be expecting to get it for that much lower than invoice? I know they get kick backs and all, but just want to make sure I really understand what is realistic.

$2500 rebate plus $1750 discount.

lots of 2021’s are coming into stock now so I’m sure you can get I better discount than I did.

I always assumed the recommended 10-12% discount included and rebate.

I think the $2500 rebate goes through December.
