Bought my first Lexus 2 days ago. 2021 RX350L with navigation, panoramic, premium pack, MSRP is about $58K according to the window sticker, got it for $54.5K OTD. Is it a good price?

Hi John,
Welcome to my world. I just dealt with over dozen dealers around the S East for about a week or so. The Florida dealers were bad on discounts. Also Texas was horrible. The best deals came from TN and GA.
I honestly wouldn't believe the people on this group that say they got 12% off before incentives with zero dealer fee's etc etc. Unless they actually post a photo of their actual deal sheet they are just talkers.
My car has a sticker of close to 61k and I was able to get a bit over 9% off MSRP before the $1500 lease incentive. They gave me over 10% but they had a dealer fee that knocked that down to about 9. You can see my lease deal a few post up from here. I actually posted my REAL DEAL unlike the other talkers on this group.
I would take anyones stated "deals" with a grain of salt unless they man up and post their actual paperwork like I did. I know 9% off MSRP is doable but ALL the Florida and Texas dealers wouldn't even match my lease deal let alone beat it.

Military:$1,000
Term: 36 Months
Milieage: 5k per year

Money due at Signing: $2,866 which is just taxes + your 1st payment.
Residual: 60% ($31,170.00)
Monthly payment $490 per month.

I live in MD so I have to pay all the taxes upfront. Thanks.
1) Is that discount with the rebates?
2) For your zip code have you checked the residual and base mF on Edmunds Lexus RX lease and price forums?
3) Have you considered using Multiple security deposits to buy down the mF?

Hybrids trend differently then the 350s in pricing, close to sticker or less then half off of what folks get on the gas only model is a rule of thumb (unicorns and exceptions exist).
My advice for hybrids is simply seek for a custom order, you`ll enjoy it more.

If your search area is not going to be large, I`d honestly take the Lexus Plus dealer in Florida, those fees games are terrible.

Thank you for accounting for every dollar in your deal. You do future buyers a service by doing so. There's way too many "I got xx% discount" posts on this thread that appear to exclude fees. Trade-ins need to be referenced, too. Great discounts are easy to get when you get skinned on the trade. I still laugh when recalling the post that claimed a 25% discount, with the OP mentioning only when pressed that he "forgot" that he traded in a vehicle....!

Nice looking, RX, BTW, and the vehicle you are towing is sweet, too!

I have a couple offers for 12% off MSRP then the incentive on top of that from Atlanta dealers.
Can you share which dealers are giving you 12% off MSRP before incentives? You can PM if you don't want to share in thread.

Huge point. Silicon Valley dealers will heavily discount the RX350, which helps make up for poorer gas mileage. Resale will be lower, however.
We are waiting on an RX450h F Sport, white on red. REALLY HARD to find...

It was all bait and switch crap. In the end they loaded up a bunch of extras on the quote. Paint sealant, tire warranty etc etc etc. Bunch of low practices in the Atlanta area.

Nalley roswell is the definite one to avoid. Used to be decent 5 years back. Absolutely shady and bait switch now. They dont even sell car without a $500 tint and $700 paint protection! Its ridiculous. Hennessy doraville only added 96 nitrogen fee which you can fight it off (I did in January) and Nalley smyrna didn't add stuff like this last time I bought there. May be they've started doing the same BS.

Default Discount for customer ordered RX

What is the discount (just dealer discount from MSRP before Lexus cash) should one aim for towards custom ordered RX350 or RX450h? The discount people are talking about (8% to 10% from MSRP) seems to be for a vehicle that is in the dealer lot. Would like to hear from those who custom ordered their RX (2020 MY or 2021 MY).
