Does anyone know what’s wrong with my 2018 Lexus RX350 make strange noise with steering wheel. I did checked with Longo Lexus dealer but they said there had nothing wrong. Because this strange noise sometimes it happens but sometimes it doesn’t, that’s why they cannot find the problem. At this time I record the video to prove the strange noise really comes from steering wheel, I will make appointment again with Longo Lexus dealer after New Year. Here is my video

 

I have a 2018 with over 30K miles on it, and I've never heard anything like that. I say NOT normal.

 

This is common in Toyota products. Many years ago, I owned a Corolla and Previa. They both developed squeals in the steering wheels, of course, after the warranty period was over. With your case, it is apparent Toyota has failed to resolve the problem,

Please be polite, but insist that the dealer fix the problem. Otherwise, escalate the issue--all the way to Lexus Corporate. At one time, Lexus used to be sensitive to customer complaints. These days, the manufacturer has adopted a "customer can go fly a kite" policy.

 

Ours makes that noise occasionally, but not as bad and at a higher pitch. 2017 RX 350 F sport Japan build.

 

This is the same exact issue mentioned a few days ago over on THIS thread. Thank you for the video! That noise would drive me up the wall if it persistently occurred. Luckily I have only experienced it a few times.
