I think that's a fair charge!

I've had that very same battery on my 2017 and still going as strong as ever! I desulfate & charge it twice a year.
Now if I had a stop n go motor I'd definitely use AGM, Lexus/Toyota are good batteries and if I had my Druthers I'd chose Odyssey or NorthStar, but those are between$300 & $400 before installation costs,

I had mine changed yesterday at a local independent for $189. Three year free replacement. We'll probably trade it before the three year mark at this point.

Scroll up....several posts regarding reset and saver.

A video from Viktor shows that reset not necessary if you do the job quickly...ie...have everything ready for a quick disconnect and reconnect.

A friend of mine has used AAA batteries in his Camry and they seem to be very well built. The CCA (cold cranking amps) on a 4 year old battery was still at the stated rating. I would assume then that the CCA when new would have been higher than the rating. East Penn is one of three manufacturers of batteries in the US. The other two are Exide and Clarios. The Lexus battery will come from one of those three companies. The Lexus battery in my 2017 RX 350 was well below the stated CCA when it was 3-1/2 years old. It's a tough call to make since all three companies can put out high quality batteries or cheap ones depending on what the customer wants.

East Penn are VERY good batteries, if you go with AAA make sure that they do not disconnect for more than 10-15 min or you'll have to redo all the settings

Interesting I had logged onto AAA to have them replace ours and it came back NO MATCH for 2017 Lexus RX. I had an independent replace it as I mentioned earlier in this thread.

I've used AAA batteries in most of my cars for yrs, and had them to install them. They normally lasted 5-6yrs with no issues. Never had to replace my RX battery yet, and have no issue in having one installed with my supervision of course.

Thank you very much for posting those videos. They are really helpful!
Would it be possible, in the future, to post a video on how to retorque
nuts and bolts of drive shaft (AWD), giving us also the torque numbers?

\\Thank you for your response. According to Viktor nothing needs to be reset. I found his answer to a question that was asked by a viewer of his video. Interesting, he did not mention a time frame. I will do it myself.

Since 1968 I've always performed DIY battery replacement in the vehicles. I think I can do a better job and I like the labor charge (zero).
