Hi,
2021 RX350L - I have Android set to on under Projection, and the latest Android Auto installed on my phone, but connecting the usb cable just charges the phone - Android Auto does not display on the car screen, nor do I see the Android Auto icon on screen. I've tried different cables but to no avail. Anyone encountered this? Suggestions? Thank you in advance.

The only port that will recognize AA or ACP is the lower of the two ports in the console arm rest. Once connected and you hit menu on the console (I think it's list as a source) then you will see an icon the AA.

Yes, I've been trying both the ports inside the armrest console but it's not helping. Tried with a Samsung S8 with Android 9 as well as an S10....neither work.

Unfortunately, Waze doesn't work. My biggest disappointment to date as well. Use Google Maps, but it doesn't appear to have the cool warnings that one gets with Waze. If someone knows otherwise, please advise.
Saw somewhere they are working on it, appears to be an issue with the screen orientation; landscape VS portrait mode.

Saw posts elsewhere having to do with the cable used. I've ordered a couple of different usb-c cables others have had success with...let's see where that leads. Thank you for your responses!

Purchased a Anker Powerline II USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen2 Cable(3ft), USB-IF cable from Amazon and it started working! The "Projection" menu item on the screen changed to "Android Auto"!

Thanks the suggestion, Tarkus. I'm all set - the new cable got it working. Now I just need to figure out why google map gives me directions in Russian even when I've set the language to English under every setting I can find.
