I think my Rx350 is pretty comfortable although I just drove 3500 miles on a trip with my Mercedes Sprinter Van RV (of all things) and the van is more comfortable for very long distance driving than my Rx. Go figure.

Others are Subaru sedan, Subaru SUV and Kia SUV. I heard many times from people how comfy to be in Merc. Wonder how none of the other lux brands made to this list!! Not sure whether they used additional parameters like reliability, etc to arrive the top 5.

Here's the article: https://www.consumerreports.org/buyi...y-comfortable/
Rated by Ride, Noise, Comfort, Driving Position, and Access, with extra weight on Ride and Noise. The reason other luxury brands didn't make it on here is because of the price ranges (<$35k, and $35k-$55k). Surprised Subaru made it on here with the road noise. RX too for that matter.

Thank you very much, for that Consumer Reports article! But are you saying that the RX exhibits excessive ROAD NOISE?! I have found the cabin to be extremely, almost whisper quiet...

I've seen YouTube reviews of the RX and one guy was saying how the seats were uncomfortable...especially the driver's seat. If mine were any more comfortable, I'd fall asleep driving. I've sat in the rear occasionally and those seats are exceptionally comfortable too.

Finally swapped the Bridgestones on the hybrid with a new set of Michelins, and the difference is amazing. Guess these old ears had tuned out the sound of the Bridgestones, but it was still tiring after even a short trip.

FYI - slightly quieter on the michelin premiers vs. BF Goodrich Advantage T/A. But road noise isn't all tires.
