Default Wind noise in my 2017 Rx350

Hi, I’ve recently purchased a CPO 2017 Rx350 with 30k miles. At 60+ mph speed, there is a wind noise coming from the edge of the window. It sounds as if the there’s a gap in the window. I’ve not been able to determine if the wind is coming inside the cabin, but the noise is definitely disturbing. The dealership has said that this is how the vehicle is designed and there is nothing they can do about it. I’m having my doubts and would like to know if anyone has had similar experiences ? Thanks!

I have the same problem with my 17, but my 16 is absolutely quiet. I have tried to find the source of the wind noise, and it seems to come from the passenger window, or the passenger side of the sunroof. I haven’t been able to pinpoint the area yet. Wife’s car, and she can’t hear it — that’s a good thing.

I Just got a 2021 RX350 and have the same issue of wind noise coming from the passenger side . It is very irritating and feels they have duped us . this noise is not obvious on local roads where speed is in 50s but on highway it is a nuisance at speeds over 60mph.

I would try this: have a mechanically inclined person ride in the passenger seat while you hear the noise and see if they can pinpoint the noise as to either the sunroof or the door/window.
If you can determine where it's coming from, maybe you can convince the dealer to do something.

FWIW, my 2020 is noticeably quieter when I close the sunroof shade. It only has the sunroof, not the panoramic roof.
