Squeak sound when P Park gear engaged
Hello community,
I own 2018 Lexus RX 350L (currently at 33k miles) and recently I'm having bit of issue.
When I park my car and put P gear, I hear rather loud 'squeak' sound from back? of the car. Same thing when I change gears from D to P, or R to P.
No squeaking between D to R gear.
I'm assuming something squeaks when some sort of parking mechanism is engaged?
Car is still under warranty and I can already hear dealer saying 'it is normal.'
So rather going there blind, I would like to know if similar case has been known and hopefully I can explain to the dealer specifically what is wrong with my car.
thank you.

Couple of positive spins on the Automatic Parking Brake feature:
a) Most of us rarely set the brake routinely and the cables eventually rust and bind up.
b) All of us have parked on an incline and had the car roll against the transmission parking pawl.
B!) Some of us have had the inclined car bind up the parking pawl so much you need 4 guys to push uphill...
