Default RX 350 F Sport Handling Version - Issues?

i'm about to order a 2021 RX F Sport. a dealer already has one coming in later this summer...but it is the "F Sport Handling" version.

not so worried about the extra cost, but concerned about future potential complications, less ride comfort, and extra noise that might be involved with the "F-SPORT–TUNED ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION" etc etc.

has anyone had problems with it? should i avoid it?

p.s. i don't care about 'performance', i just want the F Sport for the red sport seats like the 450h i currently have. i'm more concerned about comfort and sure hope that package doesn't increase the NVH.

I have the 16 F-sport and I love it, but I like the firmer ride and better handling. The handling and ride is definitely different (not as soft) than regular suspension. As far as durability, Its too soon to say for me.

The ride is going to be a bit harsher so if you live in an area with a lot of potholes or uneven roads and you prioritize ride comfort, I'd avoid it.

That said, I barely notice any difference when I use Sport+ mode which engages the adaptive variable suspension in my '16 RX F-Sport.

I have a 2020 Rx 450h f Sport Handling version and cannot tell the difference in riding comfort from my 2018 Rx 350. I, like you did not require/choose the "handling" option, it was already on the only vehicle they had for sale at the time. I leave it in normal drive mode most all of the time.

Our '18 RX450h was too squishy for me; I used the Sport mode all the time. We traded it for a '21 RX450h F Sport Handling. Far better in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback...I've reserved a 350 F Sport Handling to replace my '17 450h. and changing from Atomic Silver to White/Red...which is what i've always wanted. you have good taste!! cheers.
