AWD non-unidrectional tire rotation pattern
I was a little surprised to see the 2020 RX owner's manual specify a simple front->back, back-> front tire rotation pattern. No mention is made of FWD or AWD differences. To those of you that do your own tire rotation, or know for sure how your dealer does them, what rotation pattern do you use? I'm inclined to do the more typical front->back, backs crossed->front pattern. My tires are the OEM Bridgestone Ecopias, which are not unidirectional.

So far I have just been doing the rotation per the owner's manual....front to back, back to front on same side.
Quite honestly for me I do not think that it matters. The Michelin's are notorious for only lasting 30k regardless of what owners do. Mine have about 22k and show even wear, but I will probably need to get new tires around 30k which is ridiculous. The dealer did the first two rotations at 5k and 10k as part of the free service. I have done the last two at 15k and 20k. I do not know how Lexus does them but assume per the manual. Maybe a question for ViktorG.

Save the tire rotation from the 5k service and use it at 10k miles. Then at 20k your tires will probably be at the wear bars. The bridgestones only last 20-25k. Get new tires at discount tire or costco and youll still have a rotation at lexus you can use on your new tires. I thought it was weird fronts to back and no switching sides. But At 20k my bridgestones hit the wear bars evenly with positive camber wear through out all 4 tires so the rotation front to back seemed to be perfect.

Thanks @Quantum501 and @dannnn . I ended up rotating the tires front<->back, as specified in the owner's manual, primarily because my jack stands weren't tall enough to get all four tires off the ground. That was a surprise. I could have teeter-tottered the thing to get it done, but decided it wasn't worth the effort.
I know not many people like the Ecopia's, but mine are wearing fairly well. The dealer did rotations at 5K and 10K, and I just did the 15K. The tires are mostly at 8/32s, though I did measure a place or two at 7/32s. The Ecopias started at 10/32s. Assuming even wear in the future and replacement at 3/32s, they should last 40-45K. Not great, but not awful. We'll see.

Tire Rotation - Pattern?
Hello all,
I have a 2021 Lexus RX350 F-Sport AWD, my question is what pattern is everyone doing for tire rotation? I do it myself so seeing what pattern people believe they get the most benefits from. (mileage) I believe in the past I would just do front to rear with no crossing as I believe I read that somewhere before.

Front to rear and vice versa is fine. Some tires have an outside wall/directional (not sure about yours) so they can't be rotated left to right.

My RAV4 (similiar car) manual says to move the rears, cross them and put on the front. Then put the fronts straight to the back. As KennyFSU says, make sure you don't have directional tires.
