I have a 2020 RX350L and the moonroof was leaking in a corner so dealership replaced the whole thing. It only leaks when heavy rain hit it or certain touchless car washes with pressure washers hits it. The replacement was in March and I noticed it leaking again in the area towards back of vehicle. Took it in today and they said may be a faulty screw. They said at this point this is all they can do at the dealership and referred me to their body shop if it still leaks since it may be a structural car thing they don't do. The advisor said they ran the garden hose on it and there was still one drip of water they saw leaking in. I am planning to get it assessed at the body shop. The car is still under warranty since my four years isn't up. My lease term is 39 months. I would like to keep the car if it gets fixed since my mileage is so low since im going nowhere in this pandemic. At this point they said if the body shop can't fix it I can choose to escalate on my own to Toyota HQ and they would decide what to do if anything!! this is my first lexus and my hondas had no issues like this, especially since this is a new vehicle its totally unacceptable. What would it be like 10 yrs down the road if its happening now? Any one with the same model having similar issues since I think its a parts problem? Want to hear from others. TIA!

I would take it to a different Lexus Dealer before going to a body shop.
Over the years the RX has had issues with water leaking from the roof. From the sunroof and microphone if I remember right. Don’t every remember reading about a body shop being involved to fix it.

This is why I never want a sunroof.
