Purchase price of 2022 RX350/RX450h

2022 rx-450h
I ended up buying a 450H, out of the door price $64,689 + tax + $2750 for clear bra/coating. I wrote a check for $74,600. I was able to negotiate to rid of the premium tag of $5k but nothing more. I paid the full MSRP plus tax and clear bra/paint coating. Feel like I did not get the traditional deals on a new car. I think the car market will be a non-negotiating environment for the next few years.

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and looking to purchase my first Rx350 F sport (2022) tomorrow. Just wondering if I had a fair quote from the dealer. I didnt want the dealer extras (dent protection, appearance protection etc, so they took it off.
Let me know what you guys think. TIA

Did you go onto the Lexus website and create a new build with the exact options that autonation is stating? The MSRP should match, if it does not that means AutoNation is charging a market value which is not good and you do not pay that. In addition, an electronic filing fee what is that for? I was not charged for that and the dealer service fee I paid for my 2022 was $149 not $899 which is quite high.

Today's market if you don't need a car stay out of it. 8 months ago i bought nearly the same car that's on you paperwork for $54000 OTD. today i would not of bought it and kept my old car until the market resets which will happen at some point.
Is this the car you are looking at? https://www.lexusofclearwater.com/in...zmda1nc330080/
If so it might not be a bad deal in the market place now. getting under MSRP is the goal today. Best of luck.
Your drive out should be approx $34741.71 not $36000

Looking at these numbers it is all about your trade. I would look to Vroom, Carmax and Carvana for a good idea on trade value. They all provide electronic offers. Just click the sell button to get their numbers and see how that compares to what 5he dealer is offering. I recommend trying all three because I have seen their offers as much as $4000 apart from each other at times. Would help if we knew everything about the trade before offering any advice. The dealer doc fee is high but good luck fighting it. The electronic filing fee is standard in a lot of dealerships nowadays. Many dealers have basically eliminated their title clerks and turned everything over to independent companies to handle the job for them. Whether or not you are getting a decent deal all revolves around what you are actually receiving on your trade.

I have begun negotiations for a new RX-350 and have already found some interesting inventory differences. As I am fortunate enough to live in 2 different states I have found that Lexus in Tennessee has no problems selling their 22's for full sticker price. Makes no difference what the final number is once the car lands. Florida all say they will move off sticker but have no numbers yet. Tennessee has little or no 2021 RX-350 on the lot and Lauderdale and Orlando has over 70 on the lot and more coming. 2022's should start coming in the dealerships in 3-4 weeks.
