Default HVAC Air Flow Question

When the heat is directed solely at the floor, I get a small amount of air from both outboard dash vents but not the center vents. Is this normal? Couldn’t get any info from the owner’s manual. Thanks

Seems to be an intentional characteristic of the design.

Yes, if I knew there was a cold draft near the drivers door I would not have purchased the car. Lesson learned to test drive when the weather is less than 30 degrees and not during the fall.

Below 30 degrees outside? I would be more upset by the weak heating of the seat and steering wheel.
