Don't know. Looked up the part numbers of the head unit there are over 30. Hopefully someone here can give you guidance.

I assume you don't have the Mark Levinson system. I love Crutchfield.com and recommend buying some stuff from them. They have very good tech support and send free harnesses, instructions, etc, if you are going to do it yourself.

Default OEM Speakers Upgrade Lexus RX 350 2018

Team - I own a 2018 Lexus RX350 and planning to upgrade the default speakers. Can you please direct me if upgrading the speakers would give a better audio compared with the default speakers ? Planning to upgrade only the Left, Right and Center Dash Speakers. Can you please point me to the plug and play speakers for installation ?

Thanks in advance.

I upgraded the audio system on my 2021 RX with navigation doing just the 3 dash speakers. The difference of doing the corner speakers make it sound great. But, also replacing the center speaker made it sound "AMAZING". I dealt with Crutchfield and chose the Infinity Ref 4032. Unbelievable customer support. They are about $50 each but they're sold in pairs, so you'll have 1 extra. These new speakers are more efficient than the stock factory, so they require less power. Therefore, you won't be putting a strain the existing system. I strongly suggest buying the correct wiring harness which will enable you to connect to the cars wiring harness without having to cut anything. These two will work, Redwolf 2018-2022 Camry $13.59 or Metra 72-8019 $11.44. Again sold in packages of two so order two. (Amazon)

The dash grills pop off fairly easily and you'll need to make some changes to the new speakers to make them fit. Below are two photos comparing the new speakers with the OEM factory. A no-brainer as to which would sound better. The new speaker is on the right. Search "Carolina Cowboys Speaker Upgrade" on YouTube for help. He uses a speaker not recommended by Crutchfield so the fit isn't great. Also, he didn't use the wiring harness so he had to cut into the cars wiring harness.

I have several cars in my household. I now end up taking the RX because of its superior sound system.

Thank you very much for the detailed information. I saw that video in youtube and its really helpful.
I just had a conversation with BestBuy Geek Sqad Support and looks like they do install the speakers. Tech Support Engineer recommended to installHe didn't recommend to change the dash speakers as the dash is not going to be a big impact if the plan is to change the door speakers as these produce considerable impact on audio quality.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

That plan may work and probably give you more bass. The door speakers are bigger than the dash speakers. I chose only the dash speakers since they were easier and I didn't want to remove the door panels. The $540 really isn't bad for speakers and labor. It just will make the driving experience so much better especially on long trips. Good luck!

Agreed. Is it risky to change the door speakers ? Are there any known issues that I need to aware of before requesting Geek Squad to replace the door speakers ? I hope the Tech Specialist at Geek Squad are experienced to replace the door speakers.
You are right, there are no risk involved in changing the dash speakers.

Plan B - If its risky to remove and replace the door speakers, I'll go ahead and order the Dash Speakers and get that installed first without altering the Door Speakers. Listen to the audio quality and see if I have to replace the door speakers.
Better Option ?

Can you elaborate on your harness options…..Crutchfield website says none exists and you would need to splice……..your posting seems to contradict this….
